The time has come to bid farewell to the wonderful Class of 2024 and congratulate them on a very special Northampton High journey.
Year 13 truly embraced their final week with us and enjoyed celebrating their time here with customary leavers’ traditions. The days leading up to their departure included several dress-up themes, including dressing as boys and what they wanted to be when they were younger! It was fabulous to see that their actual plans for the future are equally ambitious as what their younger selves’ had hoped.
The group were delighted to come together on Thursday 9 May, along with parents and teachers, for their special Leavers’ Reception where they reflected fondly on precious school memories.
On their very last day, the Class of 2024 invited staff to join them in dressing up according to the chosen theme, ‘The Wild West’. The High School proudly showed off their checked shirts, hats and cowboy boots in the brilliantly decorated Senior Foyer, where staff and students took to line dancing and singing! With their fabulous outfits on display and everyone in high spirits, the school community gathered in the theatre for a special farewell assembly featuring the infamous leavers’ video!
To our departing Year 13, well done for all you have achieved and good luck in your next chapter!
