GDST Talks: How to be a tech role model for your child

The next instalment of the GDST Talks series will take place on Monday 8 February with Charlotte Robinson

The GDST Talks series continued last week with Professor Abi Gewirtz speaking on ‘How To Help Your Child When The World Feels Like A Scary Place’. You may be interested in accessing a recording of the talk available here. This video will be available until Sunday 14 February.

We are delighted to confirm that our next GDST Talks event takes place on Monday 8 February, at 6pm. Our speaker is digital rights activist and YouTuber Charlotte Robertson, who can regularly be seen campaigning in the media, in parliament and in schools and organisations around the world to empower young people to survive and thrive online. To mark Safer Internet Day 2021, she will be giving a presentation on ‘How To Be A Tech Role Model For Your Child’.

This event will take place on Zoom, and is suitable for parents with children in Year 3 to Year 13, and to book your free ticket for the event, please click here.

If you would like to find out more about upcoming GDST Talks events, there is information here. We would also welcome your feedback on the topics you’d be interested in seeing covered by future GDST Talks.

We look forward to welcoming you to the talk on the 8 February.
