Senior Drama Company record their first virtual play

The play, titled ‘Until It’s Too Late’, was filmed and produced by students and is our first virtual production

The Senior Drama Company have recorded their virtual play entitled, Until It’s Too Late.

The play is a devised piece that started by considering how we now must keep our distance and cannot hug some of our loved ones during these current times, and how that lack of touch can be very upsetting.

The ideas were then researched and a plot was developed around a girl who had lost her sister in an accident, using verbatim theatre to develop the characters and to structure the script. The company were introduced to methods of devising by reading an article in the Guardian and by watching the National Theatre’s film about creating chorus led by movement director, Aline David.

Congratulations to Mo and Anika for producing a moving and thought-provoking virtual play. We are delighted to be able to share the performance with you, please click here.
