A year 13 student has made a big impression on the world athletics stage, after competing in the British Athletics Championships in Manchester. Georgie F competed in the triple jump at the showpiece event, televised live on the BBC on Saturday 5th September, and was the youngest competitor in her event, jumping to her outdoor personal best in the process.
Georgie competed against athletes 10 years her senior at the prestigious competition, and will only grow from the experience having competed against the best athletes in the country. Everybody at Northampton High School is so proud of Georgie for this magnificent achievement, and we look forward to supporting her and following her career with interest for many years to come.
