As always, the dining hall was filled with our alumnae chatting and reuniting with friends from their school days as well as former members of staff. The guests included two tables of leavers who are regulars at the event: the Class of 1956 -1959 and the Class of 1960. The leavers from 1965, enjoyed reminiscing on their table of 13! Other year groups returning included a group of nine who left in 1984-85 and group from the Class of 1990. We were also pleased to welcome back (for the first time) a group of eight who left in 1979.
The staff table was popular, as usual and it was great to welcome former Headmistress, Mrs Linda Mayne and the Reverend Yvonne Chapman, a previous Deputy Head as well as many other past and present members of staff. The current headmistress, Dr Helen Stringer, welcomed everyone and thanked the committee for all of their hard work in organising the lunch. Guests enjoyed a delicious buffet, (with thanks to the catering team) while some had a tour of the school and all enjoyed catching up with friends.
