Last week, our Year 13 geographers went to Shrewsbury for their A Level Geography residential.

Last week, our Year 13 geographers went to Shrewsbury for their A Level Geography residential.

On Monday they examined the carbon cycle to investigate flows and stores of carbon in the trees and soil.

On Tuesday they investigated the factors affecting the sense of place in Shrewsbury, focusing on key aspects such as environmental quality, services and retail quality.

They were also studying hydrology – which was quite apt given how much it rained whilst they were away!

Towards the end of the week, the students planned their coursework titles which they independently investigated on the final day of their trip.
