During the journey there, students were asked to fill out an SSS (Sensation Seeker Scale) questionnaire, which can be used to determine the relationship between personality and ride selection at the theme park. Physics and Maths students also used the rollercoasters and rides to experience forces outside of their daily lives. For example, RITA goes from 0 to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds (which means that the ride has an acceleration of 10.7 meters per second squared) with passengers experiencing around 4.7 Gs.
Overall, it was a fantastic trip with great weather and even better rides! Thank you so much to Mrs Vizor, Mrs Down and Mrs Harrison.
