With extreme temperatures forecast this week, we want to ensure all families have a clear and up-to-date picture of what is and is not going ahead. This notice includes information for current parents and information about Junior School Welcome Day and Senior School Welcome Day.
For current parents, school is open tomorrow and normal hours apply
School will be open tomorrow and will operate its normal timetable. Transport and after-school care will run as usual. However, in recognition of the heat, we are offering families the option of early collection from 1.15pm. This is entirely optional — school will remain open for the full day. If you would like your daughter to be collected at 1.15pm, please call or email the school by 10.00am tomorrow so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Frozen performance
We are pleased to confirm that the production of Frozen will continue to go ahead as planned. We very much look forward to seeing families there and celebrating the girls’ hard work and talent together as a school community.

Junior School Welcome Day
Welcome Day will now formally finish at 1.15pm tomorrow. If you are unable to collect at this time, your daughter is welcome to remain on site until 3.30pm, though children will be off timetable during this period and will not have formal lessons.
Families will have the opportunity to briefly meet the class teacher in the morning. We also warmly invite new Junior School families to join us for the Junior School Celebration Picnic on Friday 3 July. A response form has been sent to new Junior School families directly.
Please also note that the Swap Shop due to take place alongside Welcome Day has been cancelled. We will be in touch with new Junior School families shortly with information about alternative opportunities to purchase second-hand uniform.
Senior School Welcome Day — cancelled
We have taken the difficult decision to cancel Senior School Welcome Day this Friday. As this event brings an entire year group together, and given that we do not have an indoor space that can safely and comfortably accommodate everyone in these temperatures, we feel this is the responsible course of action.
We very much look forward to welcoming our incoming pupils to Induction Afternoon on Friday 4 September, ahead of their official first day on Monday 7 September. Please also note that the Swap Shop has been cancelled. We will be in touch with new Senior School families shortly with information about alternative opportunities to purchase second-hand uniform.
