Northampton Town Football Club is delighted to announce a new five-year partnership extension with Northampton High School GDST, reaffirming a shared commitment to supporting the Club’s Women’s Team while creating meaningful educational and personal development opportunities for young people.
The renewed agreement builds on a successful relationship between the Club and the girls’ school, placing a clear emphasis on education, leadership, participation and inspiring the next generation of girls through the power of football.
As part of the partnership, Northampton High School will continue its sponsorship of the Northampton Town Women’s Team, while working closely with the Club to provide a range of opportunities for students. These include educational experiences, physical activity programmes, leadership development initiatives and behind the scenes learning that showcases the many career pathways available within the football industry.
One of the highlights of the partnership over the past year was the Club’s Leadership Day, where Northampton High School students had the opportunity to learn directly from key stakeholders across Northampton Town Football Club. The event gave students valuable insight into leadership, teamwork and the diverse roles that contribute to the success of a modern football club.
