Monday 2 June

U13 Tennis v Northampton School

The U13 team consisting of Lizzie, Harriet, Avleen, Sophia and Keira travelled to Northampton School to compete in the LTa Youth Schools Year 7 and 8 Competition. It was glorious weather for tennis and the girls had much fun competing and self-umpiring. The team match consists of both singles and doubles rubbers with each one worth 2 points for the team total. Many of the rubbers finished with scores of 7 games to 5, or 6 games to 4 showing just how close the match was.

Overall the score was 10-2 to Northampton School, well done to all who took part and fought so well throughout their long rallies and games. Special mention goes to Sophia for securing the High School 2 points for her 7-5 win.
