Head's Welcome
Founded in 1878, our school enjoys the benefits of a long and illustrious heritage in the region and an undisputable reputation as an academic titan. Yet, we are not what you might expect from a leading girls’ day school.
At Northampton High, our girls have the space to be seen and the voice to be heard. They are inspired to think and learn for themselves, and to enjoy and celebrate success, however they may define it. This is underpinned by our core values of always putting girls first and empowering them to trust in themselves. We firmly believe that girls should have limitless opportunities, avoiding a narrow focus on artificial barriers.
I am extremely proud to be the Head of this outstanding school. I have high expectations for the academic outcomes of all our pupils, who continue their journeys to top universities, art colleges, drama and performing arts schools and career pathways both in the UK and abroad. My own positive experiences of a girls-only, all-through education only fuel my passion and commitment to what we are doing here at Northampton High.
