Many congratulations to the girls on their outstanding GCSE and A Level results. 100% of the girls achieved the national benchmark 5 A*-C grade figure and nearly two thirds of our students received at least 5 A*/A grades. A third of all grades were at the top grade of A* and an incredible 89% of all grades were at A*-B.
Mrs Sarah Dixon, Headmistress stated, “Yet again High School girls have excelled themselves at GCSE. This is a fitting reward for the girls' hard work and the brilliant teachers who enable them to keep achieving such high grades, whatever the national picture may be.”
Our A Level results were also impressive this year with a fantastic 92% of all grades at A* to C and a third of our girls gained at least one A*.

Some of the outstanding individual achievements included Anna in 6:2, who received four A*’s in Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Further Maths, an amazing accomplishment resulting in a place at Queens College in Oxford to study Chemistry. Alice in 6:2 also achieved four A*’s in the same subjects and will be studying Chemistry at St Andrews. Carmen and Fiona also received exceptionally high results.
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the girls who received their GCSE’s and A Levels this summer, and we wish all the girls well with their future education and careers.
