On Friday it was 'Golden Lessons Day in senior school; staff encouraged academic risk taking within lessons by trialling the 'Golden Lessons' concept. Each member of staff selected one lesson during the day where they tried a new way of teaching a familiar topic.

The range of activities was very exciting, with a savage re-enactment of 'Lord of the Flies' being undertaken by the English Department, Dragon's Den being used to teach Alexandrian Science and Mrs Hill (Head of Modern Foreign Lanuages) led a German treasure hunt around the school.
